Welcoming the Water Tiger year

The season of celebration continues🏮✨

We are entering the month where the phrase “Gong Xi Fa Cai” gets used a lot. Chinese New Year is arriving a little early on 2022, specifically on the 1st of February. Which means the feasting is about to begin!

In traditional Chinese culture, cake is one of the mandatory items during Chinese New Year to symbolize prosperity. In order to welcome the Chinese New Year properly, LOU has prepared our special cakes especially for you!

It consists of 4 types of sweet:

1. Lantern Macarons

Three stacks of LOU’s 8cm diameter signature painted macarons. With tempting pineapple buttercream and orange chunks, this macaron will make one’s mouth water in a blink of an eye!

2. Lapis Legit

As a staple for special occasions in Indonesia, LOU presents to you the classic Indonesian thousand layers cake! Baked with the one and only Wijsman butter, LOU's Lapis Legit is perfect to be enjoyed with your loved ones with.

3. Cookies Package

This bundle consists of LOU’s Nastar and LOU's Kastengel, both made with premium Wisjman butter. Accompanying them is LOU's very own PB&J Cookies and LOU’s new creation, Oolong Cookies. There’s no better way to celebrate Chinese New Year than sharing sweet treats with your sweethearts!


4. Fortune Vase

What do you get when you combine Lapis Legit with buttercream, painted fondant, chocolate modeling, and  flower wafer paper? The ultimate LOU’s Fortune Vase!
